We’ve all made and broken promises, but a promise fulfilled brings life. Click on the links to read about two promises and their impact. A Birthday PromiseA Father’s Promise. These are heartfelt promises that shape relationships, create beautiful memories, and serve to remind us of our deep need for something to believe in. These promises serve to remind us of a true and better promise offered to all mankind.

From the beginning, God’s promise (JESUS) has outlived our mistakes. God loves us so much that he ensured that all history has a thread of Jesus woven in to serve as a reminder of God’s promised faith, hope, and love. Click Here to watch a video that depicts God’s promise, Jesus – a true and better way.

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29

There is no mistake to great, no thought to selfish, burden to heavy, or betrayal beyond God’s forgiveness. God’s promise from the beginning was to make a way that would right all wrongs and unify all people under the authority of love. God’s love was perfectly accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s our privilege to believe in, learn from, and ultimately imitate Christ.

1 Imitate me, as I imitate Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

  1. The Life – How could your life better represent the life that Christ lives?
  2. The Death – How could your life better live up to the sacrifice Jesus became for mankind?
  3. The Resurrection – How can you be more motivated by Christ becoming your forgiveness?
